An accessible website is a website that allows people with disabilities and elderly people to use it efficiently and enjoy it like anyone else.
According to a study conducted by Microsoft in 2003, between 20 and 25 percent of the population encounter difficulties in using the Internet and may benefit from more accessible web contents.

Verso website believes in and works towards equal opportunities on the web for people with various disabilities and/or using assistive technologies to operate a computer.

Accessible Website Symbol

An/our "Accessible Website" symbol is the initiative of the non-profit organization Access Israel and the Israel Internet Association. The symbol is placed on websites that have been adapted to the requirements to make them accessible to people with disabilities.
The purpose of placing the symbol is to promote public awareness of web accessibility and to inform the website users of the extent of its accessibility.

You can find ours on the top left corner with an accessibility icon of a person figure with the color purple and white background inside of a circle :)

Website Accessibility

This website meets the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Adaption of Accessibility to Services), 2013.
The website conforms to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (SI 5568) for web content accessibility at Level AA and the recommendations of W3Cs WCAG 2.0 document.
It has also been adapted for display on the most popular Web browsers (Explorer, Chrome, etc...) and for use on cellular phones.

Amendments Made

Strict accessibility adaptations were made on this website, including semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies, navigation and operation definition using a keyboard only according to the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), color adjustment and addition of assistive symbols and instructions in forms for the benefit of all users. In addition, in order to achieve the optimal user experience with screen reading software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.

Some of what was done on the website

We added an assistive accessibility component that is compatible with our website which You can find ours on the top left corner with an accessibility icon of a person figure with the color purple and white background inside of a circle :) it allows controlling the font size, bypassing blocks, instructional texts for NVDA and Jaws screen readers, keyboard navigation that makes it easier for a user without using a mouse, adjustments to adapt the website for a user with a NVDA and Jaws screen reader, making it easy to view shades of black and white/color contrasts, to block animation and any moving component on the website, and to emphasize links.

To achieve the optimal user experience with a screen reader, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.

It should be noted that despite our efforts to make our web pages accessible to everybody, the attached documents (such as Word, PDF, Excel), the internal management system and the video files are still being made accessible, which we are taking steps to complete.

We are also very sorry if some of our other pages are not 100% accessible, or the accessibility app itself and we are making our best to figure this out and solve this to. thank you for understanding in advanced.
